Things haven’t slowed down one bit here at NeighbourLink. Let’s just say 90 televisions were donated by the Sandman Hotel last week – you get the picture!
In this month’s e-letter, meet some of the children whose families we help. And if a donation of 90 televisions sounds crazy, wait until you read about the 106 single mattresses donated by Mattress Mattress - all of which will be going to children and youth 18 years old or younger. It’s all here in our short and sweet like summer July E-Letter.
One of our biggest needs these days is volunteer groups who can rent or wrangle up some trucks and deliver larger items to families in need. Call LeeAnne at 403.538.7314 if you’re interested!
We'd also be grateful for donations of brooms, mops, toilet plungers, shower curtains, shower mats, laundry baskets, cutting boards and vegetable peelers. Got extras? Donate ‘em! Drop them off Monday to Thursday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. as well as between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Fridays. Keep in mind we’re closed from noon to 1 p.m. for lunch.
